1.A ball is out of bounds if it comes to rest:
a) On any ground not part of the course.
b) When playing the 9th or 18th hole, on or beyond the paved path to the left of the green, or on any part of the tarmacadam area of the car park.
c) The greenkeepers compound, the practice nets, on or beyond the paved area in front of the clubhouse extending across to the path left of the 9th/18th green.
d) On or laterally beyond any adjacent fairway when the third, fifth, twelfth, or fourteenth hole is being played.
e) Within the banks of the River Ravensbourne north of the footbridge leading to the car park from the First Tee.  (The river southwards from this point is a water hazard).
f) On or beyond Farnaby Road.
 
2.The following are immovable obstructions: teaching hut; staked trees; paths; sleepers; access covers and sprinkler heads and relief maybe taken under rule 24.2. In addition, if a ball lies through the green and an immovable obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green and within two club-lengths of the ball intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole; the player may take relief as follows:
The ball must be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay that
a)is not nearer the hole,
b)avoids intervention and
c)is not in a hazard or on a putting green.
If the player’s ball lies on the putting green and an immovable obstruction within two club-lengths of the putting green intervenes on his line of putt, the player may take relief as follows:
The ball must be lifted and placed at the nearest point to where the ball lay that
a)is not nearer the hole
b)avoids intervention and
c)is not in a hazard.
The ball may be cleaned when lifted.
Exception: A player may not take relief under this Local Rule if interference by anything other than the immovable obstruction makes the stroke clearly impracticable.
 
3.Loose stones in bunkers are moveable obstructions and relief may be taken under Rule 24.1
 
4.Relief must be taken from Ground Under Repair in accordance with Rule 25.1b
 
5.The following are Ground Under Repair
a)All tees and temporary greens not in play.
b)Flower beds in front of the clubhouse, alongside the 1st and 10th tees and those in front of the 2nd and 11th tees.
 
6. The use of Distance Measuring Devices is permitted and must comply with Rule 14.3
 
Penalty for breach of local rule: Match Play – Loss of hole.  Stroke Play - Two shots.
